Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer private rentals?

Yes! We can deliver our sauna directly to your property and leave it for 12 hours or multiple days — perfect for events and gatherings. Email us at info@natapocridge.com for pricing and availability.

What should I bring?

  • Slip-on footwear. Our sauna is a footwear-free zone. If you are cycling in and out of the sauna, slip-on footwear makes that easier.
  • A towel large enough to cover your back and go under your legs to catch sweat.
  • A non-metal water bottle if you want water inside of the sauna.
  • A sauna hat slows down heat transfer to the head. Feel free to wear one if you prefer, although this is not required.

How should I prepare?

  • Stay hydrated — drink plenty of water in the hours leading up to your visit.
  • Avoid heavy meals for at least 2 hours before your session. A light snack beforehand is encouraged, as it can help prevent dizziness during or after the session.
  • Skip the makeup and sunscreen — these interfere with your body's natural detoxification process through sweat.
  • Remove all jewelry before entering the sauna — metal heats up quickly at sauna temperatures and can cause burns.

What temperature is the sauna?

Our sauna targets 180°F — widely regarded as the optimal range for maximizing health benefits, including improved circulation, muscle recovery, and deep relaxation.

Do you offer essential oils?

Yes — we offer essential oils to add to the water at no extra charge. We can also use just plain water. The choice is entirely up to the group.

How long are sauna sessions?

Sessions are booked in 20-minute increments — you can book 20, 40, or 60 minutes depending on your experience level and goals.

If you're new to sauna, we recommend booking a 20 minute session. It is recommended that people new to sauna bathing only be in the sauna for 10-15 minutes. This gives the body time to adjust to the experience without overdoing it.

More experienced sauna bathers can book up to 60 minutes, which is the perfect amount of time to complete 3 full Nordic cycles — alternating between heat and cold exposure for maximum therapeutic benefit.

What is Nordic Cycling?

Nordic cycling is a contrast therapy routine: 10-15 minutes in the sauna, followed by 5-10 minutes outside — with or without a cold plunge in a lake, river, or cold shower — then repeat. We have experienced benefits ourselves from Nordic cycling and make this available to all of our guests.

That said, we ask that everyone approach it safely. People with heart conditions, circulatory disorders, or respiratory conditions should not participate in Nordic cycling without prior medical clearance. If you have any concerns, please consult your doctor before your session.

What if I want a different temperature?

We'll do our best to accommodate custom temperature and duration requests. Email us at info@natapocridge.com with your preferred temperature and session length and we'll see what we can do.

Do you have a locals discount?

Yes! We offer locals a $5 discount on every session. This includes residents of zip codes 98826 and 98847. First, create an account, and then email us at info@natapocridge.com with proof of residency to have your account updated with local status. The discount will be automatically applied to all future bookings. If you already booked before your local status was activated, just let us know and we'll credit your account.

What is your cancellation policy?

All bookings are non-refundable. However, cancellations made at least 24 hours before your session will receive a credit back to your account balance, which can be applied toward any future booking. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session will not receive a credit.
